We left Seattle tucked snuggly under a foot of snow...

and made our way to sunny Costa Rica.

It didn’t take long to settle in.
beach time

There were expansive beaches,

pretty sunsets,

and poolside bars.

We made lots of new friends

and we soaked in time with family.

We sipped wine at cafes on the beach

took in the view

and wished vacation would never end.

  4. What fabulous photos--it looks like it was a great trip! I'm with you on the cute and not-so-cute friends--monkeys and other furry creatures are great, but I could do without ever seeing another snake while on vacation.

  6. Ooooooh, how fun! Thank you for not actually showing a spider in that photo...I cautiously scrolled down with one eye closed as soon as I saw the top of the spiderweb, but was relieved to see just a spiderweb. But, spiders aside, it looks like a fabulous trip! :)
