In the days since we last spoke I've quit my job, packed up an apartment, purchased a house, said goodbye to friends, and travelled long ways on long roads.
We're in Austin now and looking forward to moving into our new house with its bright green door and big backyard and window-lined kitchen.
Thank you for being a part of my travels. I'll be back soon.

I don't know which of the amazing photos is my favorite but probably a tie between the flying shore birds and the walrus. :) I love road trips and an adventure like this would make me very happy. Looking forward to seeing more!
ReplyDeleteMoving is so incredibly hard...but wow, what gorgeous photos of your travels! I hope you're settling in well in Austin.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the move went smoothly! Hope things will settle down for you and you'll fall madly in love with Austin!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous travel photos Sarah... particularly in love with the dog (but that's just me ;-) - nothing like the exhilaration that comes from leaving one's job!! :)
