The decorations came down this week, although I couldn't help but snap a few photos before everything went back into boxes and under the stairs. Hope everyone is having a great start to the new year. We are off to a tropical island this week. More here soon. xoxo

cinnamon sugar persimmon chips

Remove stems then slice persimmons super thin using a mandolin or very sharp knife. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and bake at 450 degrees (F) until persimmons are crisp and edges are curled. Store in an airtight container.

  3. It took a lot of persuasion to get my husband to finally take down his Christmas tree. As always, great photos, and what a fabulous new use for persimmons.
