The decorations came down this week, although I couldn't help but snap a few photos before everything went back into boxes and under the stairs. Hope everyone is having a great start to the new year. We are off to a tropical island this week. More here soon. xoxo
cinnamon sugar persimmon chips
Remove stems then slice persimmons super thin using a mandolin or very sharp knife. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and bake at 450 degrees (F) until persimmons are crisp and edges are curled. Store in an airtight container.

What a lovely idea...they make a wonderful snack and I must give them a try :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
I'm having such a love affair with persimmons this winter. I've never heard of roasting them into chips-- what a fabulous idea! They are totally beautiful, and such a simple, healthful delicious snack! Thanks for a great recipe.
ReplyDeleteIt took a lot of persuasion to get my husband to finally take down his Christmas tree. As always, great photos, and what a fabulous new use for persimmons.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are seriously fantastic, Sarah. Looks like you had a warm and exciting Christmas. Take care, you!
